(Just a little reminder of the real range of educational attainment across the world and the factors behind it)
Educational attainment is reasonably heritable in developed countries, where opportunity is *relatively* equal, compared to developing countries, where environmental and social factors have massive impact
And of course, such factors do operate within developed countries too, reinforcing links between socioeconomic status and educational attainment, across generations
