DMR #s are an incredible validation of the progressive movement, with Sanders and Warren now both ahead of Buttigieg and Biden in Iowa and no one else likely to get above 10 unless something dramatic happens in the coming 25 days.

Yes, there have been LOTS of movements of voters that might not go how people think they would go based on a pure, ideologically-based pairing.

Whenever the refugee resettlement issue is raised, I'm reminded of another then-governor who, back in 2016, wanted to enact a similar racist, xenophobic policy but was shut down unanimously by the 7th Circuit.

In data from @FiveThirtyEight and GDELT tracking, #Biden is leading TV mentions. This is pushing down poll numbers for other candidates.

Biden - 4,317
Sanders - 461
Warren - 1,090
Harris - 146
Buttigieg - 88
O'Rourke - 118
Booker - 142
Klobuchar - 47
Yang - 41
Castro - 21
These numbers should embarrass the MSM. #Harris is polling 4th yet she has less than 2% of #Biden's mentions, only 10% of #Warren's. #Buttigieg is polling right behind Harris and he has only half her mentions. Yet #Booker is almost equal to Harris. While #Castro--almost nothing.
The week showed a big drop in mentions for #Harris and #Sanders, despite high profile appearances for both on major TV shows. The disconnect is striking, particularly since both have rolled out new policy and important changes in their campaigns.

Critical point here is that the MSM is claiming that #Sanders "came within a handful of votes" of #HillaryClinton, when he lost in a landslide of 4M votes, 1k pledged delegates (not SDs) and a dozen states.

This false narrative harms #Sanders--it's meant to highlight how badly he's doing in 2020 and prop up #Biden. But Sanders is actually doing better than in 2016. There are just more players. And Biden is being replaced by a younger centrist, #Buttigieg.

One way to think about the 2020 primary is to ask yourself: Who would the plutocrats least want?
Sanders and Warren are both going strong on that indicator so far. It remains to tell how many of the other declared and undeclared candidates will propose the redistribution of power in American life that makes them terrifying to the entrenched power elite.
From time to time, you see a selfie of a candidate with a billionaire. That would be a great indicator. Rank the candidates by the number of selfies they have taken with plutes.

Am I in the twilight zone? Do I really need to explain why an older man (in a position of power) putting his hand on the thigh of a 19-year-old who had just talked about being sexually assaulted is WRONG? Especially when she said she squirmed to get his hand away?
