This response from the Post is shameful and incoherent. If the editors feel that a reporter tweeting a well-reported story’s headline with a link is beyond the pale and damages the paper they should get it over with and ban the newsroom from Twitter. google.com/amp/s/www.dail…
Pressing labor issues aside this is basically a press release saying, “we are deeply uninterested in stories about the depredations of powerful and beloved men, it might interfere with the work of our other reporters who cover them, please walk that stuff over to the Times.”
Great piece on this from @ErikWemple, which also establishes that the claim that Post management was concerned that Sonmez had revealed the names of people who’d emailed her doesn't hold up: washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/…
