Trump has been one of the weakest Presidents in the modern era. He has mostly deferred to others on policy, which has led to a very strong economy, good judges, and a mostly stable FP. That doesn't mean he's not doing serious harm in other ways (he is), but... 2/
the areas where he is doing that harm (trade, abuse of power, behavior, FP) are also serious concerns with Sanders and no proof that he would equally defer on those key policy areas where his views are terrible. 3/
Dems are asking voters to ignore the economy and relative stability to get rid of the circus, but much harder case (for those that do not have TDS) when other option is another circus promising to also change the system that has led to their relative prosperity and stability.
Of course a reasonable adult could conclude that they refuse to use their vote to back a bad candidate/circus on either side, but people like Tom keep insisting that conclusion is not allowed. Forcing people into that choice is not likely to end well for Trump opponents.
