Following our meeting with @Twitter this week, they have locked Katie Hopkins out of her account & accepted that she violated their hateful conduct policy. Here are just some reasons we have called on them to permanently remove her from their platform [THREAD]

Hopkins was fired by LBC after using @Twitter to call for “a final solution” in response to the Manchester Arena terror attack, echoing the Nazi term for the Holocaust.

Hopkins has also used @Twitter to spread misinformation, including making libellous claims about Jack Monroe, for which she was successfully sued.

Hopkins’ routinely uses @Twitter to attack London’s Muslim Mayor for his faith, referring to the capital city as Khan’s “Londonistan.” She uses this phrase even when there is no suggestion that Muslims were to blame for the crimes she references.

Hopkins used @Twitter to exploit the Rotherham grooming gangs case and suggest that all Muslims think paedophilia and sexual assault are acceptable. This is incitement and Islamophobia - slurring 2 billion people for their faith.

Hopkins uses @Twitter to blame the victims of racism for attacks on them. She used the platform to promote the notion that a Jew was responsible for an armed attack on a synagogue & Muslims for the comment that they are not welcome in the UK.

Katie Hopkins’ account has one million followers. One video she posted targeting black Londoners received 14 million views. Her presence on Twitter allows her to spread hateful ideas to a mass audience.

@Twitter must show the #WillToAct & permanently ban her from its platform.
