My dearest Tiffany,

Five years ago today my greatest fear in this world was realized when you left us. Our earthly bond was torn apart and everything about me, my life and everything I once thought to be fair and right in this world died with you.

2) I wish I could describe to you the pain that I live with every day in your absence. Words can never express the deep longing that I have in my soul for your presence or my deepest pain that you are no longer here with me.

3) My arms ache to hold you and kiss your beautiful face, my body aches with the pain of your loss even more acutely now than it did before, as my desperation to see you grows greater with every passing day. My ears still strain, even now, to hear your voice that is now silent.

4) There will never be any real comfort for me in this world in my separation from you. The only cure for this deep sorrow that ails me is you, and that remedy can never be given.

5) Sometimes I laugh a little,but that funny joking Mom you once had also died with you. I laugh a lot less these days every laugh and every smile I might have is tainted by the deep sorrow I carry in my heart in your absence.

6) You were my greatest joy, my best friend and my deepest pain when I had to stand before your lifeless body and say goodbye, where goodbye meant I would never see you again in this life.

7) Losing you remains the most deeply painful and traumatizing experience I have had or ever will have in this life.

8) I love you so much baby girl, I hope you are happy in heaven, I hope you are resting with the angels now. I hope you can hear my prayers for you, I hope you can feel the love in my heart that I send to you every single day. I hope you know how much I miss you and always will.
