Put 4 TBSP of butter in a cast-iron pan. Put in oven to melt.
Meanwhile, whisk 3 eggs until slightly frothy. Add 2 tsp salt and 1 cup of water, whisk again. Add 1 cup of flour, whisk until smooth. Butter is melted. Pour batter in pan. Bake 20 minutes.
1. Saute chopped pears/apples in butter on stovetop, add sugar and caramelize. Add batter.
2. Put bacon strips in the pan instead of butter and bake, cut in pieces, use bacon fat instead of butter.
