Two of the Page FISAs have been declared illegal due to lack of probable cause. (The other two are still being reviewed)
The illegal FISAs are:
-Second renewal, April 2017
-Third renewal, June 2017
Both applications were made and granted long after Pres Trump took office. /1

The evidence providing the probable cause came from three sources:
-Steele (Source 1)
-Press reports leaked by Steele
-Stef Halper (Source 2)

Steele was fired in October 2016 for revealing himself as an FBI source. So Stef Halper's "work" became the main source for probable cause in the later FISA applications. This was only revealed in the IG report.

So the two FISAs that heavily relied on Halper's "work" have been ruled to lack probable cause already. Big problem!

Who is Halper? Halper is Mr Spygate, who:
1) lured and set up Papadopolous
2) reported, and leaked false information about Gen Flynn
3) secretly recorded Trump campaign co-chair Clovis without a warrant
4) lured and entrapped Carter Page
5) was paid USD 1mm from CIA slush-fund

An example of Halper's "evidence" used in FISA application. Halper posed as a friend of the Trump campaign. Halper (Source 2) tells Page that in his experience, he would have used the information "obtained by the Russians" "in a heartbeat" (IG report, p. 318) /6
