After Barr installed his crony to replace her, Trump withdraws Liu's nomination.

BREAKING: Barr has assigned an outside prosecutor to scrutinize the criminal case against former Trump NSA Michael Flynn.

The review is highly unusual and more evidence of political interference by Barr into the work of career DOJ prosecutors.

Barr has also installed outside prosecutors to review the handling of other politically sensitive [Trump related?] cases in the DC US Atty’s office. The team includes prosecutors from the office of US Atty Jensen, who's handling the Flynn matter.

NEWS: Bill BARR has *accepted* a House Judiciary Committee request to testify on March 31.

It's his first appearance before the panel since his confirmation and comes amid burning questions about his role in Ukraine matters and the Stone sentencing.
