this week's WH interference in Roger Stone's sentencing is likely the most blatantly obvious (i.e. public!) act of political corruption in the history of the DOJ. Our AG now acts as Trump's mafia consigliere —his fixer.
If this were any foreign country and a nation's top law enforcement official engaged in blatantly corrupt behavior, the American press corps would loudly call out the corruption as dangerous and anti-democratic.
But for a GOP president, news orgs this week reached for "suspicious" and "unusual" as the story faded after two days. When the DOJ functions and the POTUS personal legal backstop, a democracy crumbles. Period.
At what point do news organization break the glass on the fire alarm and start forcefully describing what's at stake, and start treating Trump's behavior as the obvious threat to democratic laws that it is? To openly address in the **news** coverage Trump's authoritarian streak?

First, if you’re looking for the bottom line, there isn’t a clear one. But here’s the current status. The vape ban in general is set to expire December 24 and the vape ban as it applies to medical cannabis patients is set to expire on Tuesday. NOTE: one or both could be extended.
In my opinion, one reason it’s so confusing is because of the nonsensical nature of banning all vape products with one order. Of course it got divided up by courts. Nicotine/THC. Flower/oil. Regulated/illicit. Medicine/not medicine. None of these distinctions were considered.
