🍂At Vincent’s side, there’s a letter. On the dissection of the letter is noticed number 67, and is in Paris. Theo lived in Paris, on Montmartre neighborhood, his apartment was close to the post office number 67. The letter is from Theo van Gogh.

🍂 On the center of the Board, there’s a book and an onion, a plate with 2 onions and another onion aside. The book and the onions represent Felix Rey, the psychiatrist, who loved Homeopathy. The psychiatrist fills up most of the scene.

🍂The book is “Annual Health Book”, 1883 edition, written by dr. Raspal. Dr. Rey had been an admirer of dr. Raspal. On the pg. 113, talks about the properties of the onions. They cure 00066 Spiritual distress and the 00095 Insomnia.

🍂 On the Board, the only objects that show mobility are the flame of the candle (Gauguin), and the fine smoke, almost undetectable, of the pipe (Vincent). Both related with the fire, being part of the need of Communication, Comfort and Rest.

🍂 Perhaps, on “The Board”, Vincent and Gauguin were talking about what occurred on December 23rd 1888, when, supposedly, Vincent sliced his ear off. On the very same day received a letter from Theo, that we can notice on “The Board”

🍂And Yes, by painting the Bedroom, he needed to find “a unbreakable rest”. This artwork is the self-portrait of van Gogh and represents a 00035 Risk for injury, which on December 23rd of 1888, ceased to be a risk and turned real.
