A majority is at least 50% + 1 unit of something.

A plurality is not a majority. These are not the same thing.

Also: all these rules were agreed upon. So, if you're upset with how this might play out according to those adopted rules, take it up with your candidate for agreeing to them.
I never thought I'd hear grown adults argue that getting 1/3 of the total delegates should mean you win the nomination, but here we are.
