Dems: It's easier than saying "ex-officio" They are delegates automatically because of their position.
Bernie: So why do they get to "overrule the will of the people"
Dems: They can't. They get one vote just like any other delegate.

Dems: They're party leaders, of course they count.
Bernie: They should have to run to be a delegate like anyone else.
Dems: We do it this way because they would likely beat everyone else. We want regular people to be delegates too.

To all of you lazy-ass "Vote Blue No Matter Who" people, I have a question:

Who exactly are you addressing with this command?

Because I don't understand what kind of voter you think responds to something like this.

It was a great hashtag for the 2018 election - reminding people it's not about the individual Democrats who might be on the ticket, it's about the House.

"Vote Blue" made sense. It makes sense in any general election.

But it makes ZERO sense in a primary.

The VBNMW hashtag is used to silence people who are trying to vet candidates.

It's a cop out for people who don't want to get their hands dirty and make tough decisions.

It seems to be primarily deployed by women arguing that we should "stop being mean."

Ok, certain trolls are reading this as me "taking credit" for what was obviously a group effort in IA.

I was not. I did my job like everyone else. My delegates aren't any more important than anyone else's.

Let me clarify April's joke. (Because it was a freaking JOKE!)

On Monday I posted a rundown of what happened in my caucus. I mentioned several things, including how the Bros threw a tantrum bc I outsmarted them and ended up giving Pete an extra delegate and ha ha on them because Pete won.

I told April and we had a good laugh over wine.

When I went to bed, Pete was way ahead and it was just a funny story. When April woke me up, she said, "Sally it's almost tied up. WHAT IF IT COMES DOWN TO ONE DELEGATE!!! YOU COULD HAVE COST BERNIE IOWA!"

She made the connection. Not sure I even would have.

1) Just to recap from today, NY Times writes garbage article about everyone in Iowa hating Bernie and gets dunked on as it’s easily disproven. Boston Globe writer claims Bernie didn’t interact at a previous parade, gets destroyed because people find old tweets of his saying
2) the exact opposite. Bernie makes very mild comment about Bezos owning WaPo and WaPo not liking Bernie and CNN tweets out the comments as if it’s some horrible thing only for WaPo reporter to
3) compare Bernie to trump and Saudi Arabia, CNN then writes a story calling him a conspiracy theorist and gets WaPo editor to go agree. So in the end apparently you aren’t allowed to call out media bias. I guess everyone owes Fox News major apologies for the “conspiracy theory”
