My mom and I were talking about reproductive rape and we both have experienced a man slipping the condom off during sex. She got pregnant and ended up aborting it. The man was disappointed bc he intentionally wanted to impregnate her bc of her “good hair”
That man went on to have children in the double digits. I’m sick at how common this is, and also I wonder how different my moms life would have been if she was unable to access an abortion and carried that rape baby to term
And y’all the story gets worse. The day my mother went to the abortion clinic, the man was there with ANOTHER woman. When they got called from the waiting room together, my mom informed the woman that the man was the one who impregnated her
The woman got angry and said “if you dont get an abortion, I’m not getting one”... she was willing to push a child into this world out of spite, not out of actual desire — and I wonder how many of my peers were born in such circumstances
Abusive men love to use sex as a bonding and control mechanism. THIS is why no state can bar access to abortion and birth control. Women would not be safe.
“Was it really rape?”
“My ex (whom I still live with unfortunately) has gotten me pregnant twice and I’ve miscarried twice. He constantly cheated but tracked my ovulation so he would nut in me on purpose on those days.”
“See doesn’t that feel better?”
It counts. I’m sorry
Two women with virtually the same story.

“He... proceeded to guilt me into not taking a plan b because he said I was killing his baby”

“I wanted to tag you. To force that connection.”
