PLANT AROMATIC compounds have been at center of human medicinals for centuries.
During ancient times aromas & incense were regarded to have healing properties. During the Middle Ages physicians developed empirical formulas that were used, in series, to uncover & treat the several layers of disorder that masked various diseases.
During the height of the perfume industry of past centuries, master perfumers were able to name, based on human olfactory memory skills, each of the scores of plant terpenes in one complex perfume formula.
The olfactory nerves directly connect to the most ancient evolutionary parts of the human brain, called the “reptilian brain”, which is likely a primary connection between brain function and environ interpretations.
The brain (Pituitary) controls endocrine & neural systems, & Psychoneuroimmunology is at the forefront of modern understandings as to how humans survive & forestall disease.
Cannabis is estimated to have evolved during approximately the last third of vertebrate evolution. Vertebrates, especially the sapien species, have learned to use Cannabis for healing efficacies.
It is likely that the collection of aromatic terpenes in Cannabis has healing potentials yet undiscovered, & apart from the medicinal efficacies of the scores of cannabinoid alkaloids already extracted & studied from this amazing plant.
