1) greet patient
3) quick visual scan for obvious problems (no qty, strength)
4) verify patient has an account
5) check allergies/ health conditions
6) verify payment (ins card/no ins)
7) scan hard copy into pt computer file
8) transcribe rx into computer system (date/drug/
9) Rph to double check all data entered vs rx hard copy data
10) Drug utilization review looking for drug interactions/allergy conflicts/contraindications with drugs on current profile
11) label prints
13) tech scans drug into scale to verify if correct med (systems vary)
14) if correct vial label prints
15) tech counts medication places in rx vial of appropriate size
16) tech labels vial
17) tech gives rx product to rph for verification

19) verify pt picking up is correct pt or agent of patient
20) scan barcode to obtain rx price
21) Rph consults patient on new rx, answers any questions/ concerns
22) ✔ID control rx
