In 2004, Paul Manafort was hired by Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, to help with his bid for the Presidency. Yanukovych was Prime Minister under President Leonid Kuchma, father-in-law of Victor Pinchuk.

Central Banker, Viktor Yushchenko, formed an opposition bloc w/ Yulia Tymoshenko against President Kuchma & PM Yanukovych in order to win the 2004 Ukrainian presidential election.

They called it the Orange Revolution. Other members were from the Socialist & Communist Parties.

September 5, 2004, Viktor Yushchenko had dinner with a group of senior Ukrainian officials (including Volodymyr Satsyuk), and was poisoned with Agent Orange slipped into a bowl of soup.

Allegations of electoral fraud prompted Yushchenko and his supporters to refuse to recognize the results, which showed Viktor Yanukovych had won. After 13 days of protests, Supreme Court overturned the election results and ordered a re-vote, which made Yushchenko the President.

Viktor Yanukovych was again Prime Minister under President Yushchenko from August 2006 to December 2007. Yanukovych hired Paul Manafort again in 2010, in his bid for the presidency against Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko. He won.

In 2009, while Prime Minister, Yulia Tymoshenko ordered state gas company Naftohaz to sign an import contract with Russia, to pipe gas to western Europe across Ukraine. In 2011, a judge ruled she had exceed her powers, and ordered her jailed for 7 years.

Before being charged, Yulia Tymoshenko ran for the Ukrainian presidency against Viktor Yanukovych, who won. She was released from prison after 3 years, just in time for the Maidan Revolution.

Also in 2014, President Yanukovych fled the capital, saying his car was shot at as he left Kyiv. He travelled on to Crimea, and eventually ended up in exile in southern Russia.

While President Yanukovych was on his way out of the country, Yulia Tymoshenko ran for the Presidency again and lost, this time to President Petro Poroshenko.

Also In 2014, Serhiy Leshchenko was elected a people's deputy to the 8th Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada with President Petro Poroshenko Bloc “Solidarity”.

During the 2016 US Presidential Election, Donald Trump's Campaign Chair, Paul Manafort pushed the idea that Ukraine, not Russia, was behind the DNC hack.

Late January 2017, Pres Trump's attorney, Michael Cohen, met with Ukrainian parliamentarian Andrii Artemenko & Felix Sater. Meeting was set up by Ukrainian, Alex Oronov, father-in-law to Michael Cohen's brother. Oronov mysteriously died March 2, 2017. washingtonmonthly.com/2017/03/06/how…

At the late January, 2017 meeting, Artemenko gave Michael Cohen a Peace Plan, as well as compromising data on Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. News of the meeting was leaked to the NYT, Mr. Artemenko was accused of committing treason at home.

We do know that this Peace Plan between Ukraine and Russia was indeed passed along from Michael Cohen to General Flynn.

Article claims Cohen has links to Russia. NYT doesn't say Cohen is a married to a Ukrainian, his in-laws are Ukrainian, his brother is married to a Ukrainian, & it was his Ukrainian father-in-law who died mysteriously only a couple weeks after the peace plan was delivered.
