Still on Arthur Eze trivia. A man once visited him & complained that the last time he came, Arthur's boys shook him down for the money he was given. Arthur berated him saying that if he's not willing to share what he gets, then he's not qualified to receive from him.
Hanging around Prince Arthur is a licence to cool cash. He doles out huge sums on a daily basis to visitors & the visitors are obliged to drop something to those around before leaving. That builds up to a tidy sum at the end of the day.
The rule is they will open the door for you to enter to see him and you have to make your own case to get what you can. On your way out, you drop a portion. If you tell stories when you come out, they won't open for you to enter again.
You don't have to know him. You don't have to have an appointment. Everyone is welcome. He has a notoriously short attention span & a lot of people are always waiting so when you have his attention, you have 30 seconds to state your case.
AIT is mostly tuned on in his living room TV and they have this occasional thing they do where they show someone having a medical emergency needing money with their details on the screen. Arthur always instructs 'kpo fa nye fa N1M'.
If your village people are on your case and he gets an important call while you're stating your case, okwu agwu. African Presidents regularly call him requesting to use his Private Jet & he obliges & sends his pilots to go take them where they want to go.
A lot of powerful people call him on the regular. Aides are always handing him a phone audibly informing him who is on the line and conversations sometimes last long. He could up and leave after a call & everyone would be told to come back another day.
His homes are a mecca. No tribe, religion or creed is exempt from visiting. His circles are eclectic and his reach, incredible locally and internationally. He literally owns Sao Tome & Principe. A true eriwe agwughiagwu.

Long live Eze n'Ukpo.
