Shameful admission: I’m in the Costco parking lot waiting for the doors to open (in about 2 hours) so I can join in on the TP panic.
There are only about five other cars here now but, we’re all waiting in our cars to stay warm & dry.
Of course, one jackass pulls up, sprints ou of his car, grabs a carriage and proudly stakes out “first in line”
So, now the game is, who blinks next. Once the next person gets in line, we’re all gonna rush the door
Fuck, the rush begins
Now the drizzle starts. 90 minutes to go.
Only 10 in line (I’m #4) but so far, all men
#2 wants to be chatty. I just gave him a “don’t” look. It’s quiet again now.
Guy comes out, no paper products today. FUCK!!

Now what?
No one is leaving, why?
YES I TRIED AMAZON
#3 just left
Now the line is growing. Every third person asks what time I got here. I lie and tell them 20 minutes ago.
People walking up now drinking their hot coffee, I hate them. My coffee ran out an hour ago
I’m in. Absolute animals.
No toilet paper
No paper towels
No hand sanitizer
No bar soap
No Clorox wipes
Lots of out of stock items

I still spent $200
Meanwhile, I can pick this up at Safeway on Tuesday:

1. Some thoughts on Trump and his treatment by the Left / in the media
2. First some disclaimers:
- I am a partisan / bias conservative
- I don’t like, didn’t support nor vote for Trump
- But, I’m in CA so non-Dem votes are irrelevant. Thus, I never had to really make a voting decision on Trump
3. The Left acts as if history started on 2016. They demand condemnation of Trump on flimsy evidence while some of us remember how Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky and Juanita Broaddrick were treated in the era of Clinton.

@mrushton78 @MartinWellbour1 1. After decades of hyperbole, I'm still at a loss as to exactly what laws the Democrats want to address gun violence. In nearly every mass shooting, guns were acquired legally and nothing I've heard proposed would have stopped it.
@mrushton78 @MartinWellbour1 2. The US has far more liberty than other countries and that gives people with bad intentions a lot more latitude to do these things. Are you willing to give up liberty for tighter gun laws?

Here's recap from Tuesday's #ShutDownCanada action at the Ceres Terminal in #Halifax. Some of this hasn't been reported on. I was one of the few journalists still there when it ended (thread)
If you haven't heard about it:
-A group of Mi'kmaw people and allies blocked access to the terminal in solidarity with the #Wetsuwenten hereditary chiefs, who the RCMP are forcibly removing from their traditional territory for blocking the construction of a natural gas pipeline.
There were two blockade lines: one at the railroad tracks in front of the terminal gates (first pic), and one further up Baynes Road (below). Commercial vehicles weren't allowed into the terminal, but the group allowed civilians through. Transport trucks were lined up the road

It's 7pm and we're having oral communications for any item not on the agenda. The 190 West Cliff project will happen around 7:35pm.

When Shiro was sixteen he found out that the church that his family had joined almost a year prior had a summer camp for the youth. Due to the fact that the church itself was fairly large and had multiple congregations scattered around the country,
events like these camps were organized geographically, with a dozen or more congregations banding together to put on these events for the youth; one specifically for the boys and one specifically for the girls.
