There's a tumblr post doing the rounds about Faeries and Vampires.. and I'm not sure I agree with it.. but it has got me thinking of my own Faerie/Vampire interaction using some of their lore...

Pallid Vampire waits by river at night, playing a lute or something

Elven blood is, by repute, the best blood. This Vamp's got a plan to get himself some of the good stuff

So yeah, plays his lute, says: "Oh look at me, just a talented young minstrel all alone in this big dark forest at night... Oh I hope some alluring women don't shown up"

Quick as a flash Queen of the Elves rocks up... "A talented young minstrel all alone in the forest? Poor baby, come along with me!"

"You're inviting me into your home?"

"Yes young man,"

He's on her horse, it runs into a hill and... they're in Faerie land.

And young vlad get's his teeth in her neck tout suite.

It is good blood! The champagne of blood!

Wipes his mouth, Faerie corpse crumples to the ground....

And he'll just be on his way now.. but.. he tries to walk back to the mortal world And he can't seem to do it.

This is odd.. he can see the way... but... he can't seem to leave.. Oh...

Turns to the Corpse, licks his lips. Oh.. "Don't eat the food...."

Load of angry faeries with big faerie dogs turn up. Seven years later and they're giving him and the soul he's imprisoned to hell

This seems a sensible place to test this:
