Social distancing is for everyone. Yes you, too!

This only works if we all take it seriously and commit to as little interaction as possible over the next 2-3 weeks. That means not eating out, avoiding shopping except when essential, no gyms, no play dates for the kids.

(2) Yes it sucks. No you’re not supposed to enjoy it. But we need to stop the virus spread NOW.

I see you letting your littles play on the neighborhood playground. The virus can live on some surfaces for days. And it’s not just about your risk.

It’s about infection spread.

(3) Sure you’re probably safe. Maybe you’ll get it and feel lousy for a few days. But the kid you let come over and play is gonna take it home and maybe give it to a grandparent. They won’t be okay.

When you practice social distancing, you’re not protecting yourself.

(4) You’re protecting all of us. Your community is depending on you to take this seriously. Lives literally depend on what you do this week and next to limit interaction.

When you brush off warnings and go to the gym or the playground, you’re not assuming risk just for yourself.

(5) Your actions place your entire community at risk, so do your neighbor a solid.

Stay home. Do yoga. Have movie marathons. Play a lot of board games. Have a dance party in the living room. Get all the yardwork done.

But keep your distance. Lives are depending on you.
