I can’t be the only one feeling helpless. Malaysians, for those who will be feeling the brunt of the next two weeks, what are some things we can do? Places we can donate to, community initiatives we can signal boost? I want to DO something.
Remember #pulangmengundi. If they won’t take care of us, I want to be part if initiatives that WILL.
Here’s a fund put together by @MERCYMalaysia
An initiative to help our homeless friends make it through the next couple of weeks:

Domestic violence cases often rise during times of restricted movement. Keep @WCCPenang’s numbers handy for women and children in crisis.

Fashion Valet and IMARET are raising funds to:

1. Mobilize volunteers to assist at health facilities.
2. Assist hospitalised/quarantined friends and frontliners.
3. Provide medical and general supplies to hospitals

From KKM: Frontliners are getting burned out, and they’re looking for medical professionals willing to volunteer to fight alongside them. Sign up here: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAI…
Continue to boost, continue to add. I’ll keep adding to the list as I find more things. Remember, #kitajagakita. Goodnight, Malaysia.
Spare a thought for all the workers that keep hospitals running behind the scenes. Donate to help get them masks and other supplies here:

(Okay now I really need to sleep)

(I do feel better now though)
Good morning! It’s day one of #PerintahKawalanPergerakan in Malaysia, and a great chance to do good and help others. Let’s get it.

Calling your attention to this page, where people are offering non-monetary help, ie driving, during this time: agihansolidariti.wordpress.com/2020/03/16/ban…
If you can, please donate dry food to @lost_food for distribution to refugee schools and orphanages:

Here’s an example of how you can support frontliners in small ways. Send food/snacks/drinks to your local hospital.

Refugee families are particularly vulnerable right now. Donate to help these four Rohingya families make it through:

Attention parents of young kids! Operasi Rebung is attempting to consolidate resources for parents of preschool/kindy-aged kids to use at this time. Access or contribute at the link below!

Small business will be hardest hit by #PerintahKawalanPergerakan. Please consider looking through this thread for sellers you can support:

(Non-Malaysian mutuals, please feel free to mute this thread!)
To help our homeless community, @GerakMalaysia is putting together kits of essentials to help them weather the coming weeks. Contact them for donations.

#PerintahKawalanPergerakan is particularly hard on the elderly. If you are young and able, this Facebook group helps connect volunteers to warga emas who may need assistance:

Related to the above, here's a map that shows the exact locations of people offering and needing help:

E-therapy services available by appointment! Protect your mental health, friends.

Unfortunately @AWAMMalaysia’s helpline is experiencing some technical difficulties, but they’re still available via email if you need assistance!
In the past 22 hours, some dedicated volunteers have worked to verify and compile all these listings (and more!) in one place to make it easier to find and share beyond Twitter. Please visit kitajaga.us! #kitajagakita, Malaysia <3
URGENT CALL FOR DONATIONS for Pitstop Cafe. Share widely, and help if you can.
