We've heard that it is certain - there WILL be large civil lawsuits against Fox. We believe that "discovery" will show they intentionally spread disinformation - much as the tobacco companies did with nicotine. The disinformation will also align with Trump's messaging - to a tee.
The word "intentionally" has legal significance, akin to premeditation in a criminal matter How do lawyers prove intent? If the disinformation aligns in real time and content with Trump's messaging, they'd argue it establishes the civil equivalent of "motive," or intent.
