Improvising Bloody Mary recipe in #Turkey with no Horseradish, Worcestershire, celery seeds/salt, Hmmm. Added Wasabi sauce instead of horseradish, mixed soy sauce-lemon juice-brown sugar instead of Worcestershire, but without celery salt/seeds still “MEH”😞
Got the hot sauce, chili pepper part just fine. But still ...
Here’s an interesting fact: In #Turkey people live and eat #Celery but ONLY the bulb/root; not the stalks. They throw it out! In #Iran people consume only the stalks, but don’t eat the bulb- throw it out. Neither use the #CelerySeeds. #Quarantine diary day 27 boredom chat😉
Interestingly, back in the Stated I drank Bloody Mary maybe ... 4 or 5 times a year. Liked it, but not as a regular thingy. Now that I cannot get the real deal, all of a sudden, while in quarantine I’m going delirious over not having celery and celery seeds for appropriate BM!!!
And NO, I’m NOT Prego!
