The US produces its 3rd day of >30,000 confirmed positives coming off its biggest single daily total so far (24APR)
Italy continues its slow but steady downward trend in cases (still above 2,000 positives per day) with nearly 27,000 deaths
As does Germany but less slowly (~2,000 positives per day) and with fewer deaths (~6,000)
The UK is still holding pretty steady at >4,000 positives per day with no sign of a downward trend, and >20,000 deaths (hospital-based deaths).
South Korea's dramatic success continues with >10,000 total positives, 242 total deaths and <20 cases per day for over a week
Singapore looks to be regaining control after dormitory outbreaks with >12,000 positives, 12 deaths and >500 cases per day but declining
El Salvador's trajectory is not daily case numbers are still relatively small
Vietnam shows it is possible that similar daily numbers can be reduced quickly
Sudan's situation is unclear but trending up
Many other African nations have <20 positives per day but I'm not sure if this is testing/test capacity-related or truly limited spread
India is trending upwards at nearly 27,000 total cases, >800 deaths and >1,500 new positives per day
Chile also trending upwards with >500 new daily positives
As is Brazil but more quickly at >59,000 cases, >4,000 deaths and >4,000 new positives per day
Argentina is also gently increasing but with fewer new daily positives
Similar to South Africa
Australia has nearly 7,000 cases, 80 deaths, and has kept positives below 20 per day for a few days now and jurisdictions are relaxing some restrictions
And New Zealand's nearly 1,500 cases and 18 deaths have been growing by <20 positives per day for 10 days
