Unconfirmed reports circulating #Iran|ian social media outlets that an Iranian NavyJamaran (Moudge Class Frigate) fired towards an Iranian Navy vessel “Konarak” in the Jask Area.
Konarak from my understanding is a General Purpose Auxiliary boat, part of the Hendijan Class.
#Iran|ian International Media now picking up on this.
40 personnel were reportedly onboard the Konarak, 22 bodies have reportedly been found so far.
Reported video of the transfer of the wounded to hospital
#IRGC affilated media reporting that the Jamaran class frigate made an incorrect maneuveur during a training exercise and because of human error this incident occured.
The Konarak was reportedly tasked with placing targets within the firing zone of the training exercise.
The reports of the Konarak placing targets aligns with the reports of friendly fire during training, the seeker on the anti-ship missile would have picked up Konarak up as the target over the practice target. Human error would have possibly been a break down in coms between the 2
Im assuming the anti-ship Missile used was a C802/Noor.
Media channels are beginning to report that an official public statement on the incident will be made in the coming few hours.
A total of 16 people were transferred to hospital from the navy exercise friendly fire event. 1 was killed due to this incident, between the other 15, 1 required surgery, another 2 are in intensive care and the other 12 are stable in hospital wards.

First images have begun circulating social media and media outlets in #Iran reportedly showing the Konarak Frigate docked up after the incident. There is a metal tear that can be seen in this image.
