We as a community have to speak up together, raising awareness with @Type1EU on the amount of waste #type1diabetes supplies can produce over 3, 7, 14, and 30 days.
These precious #t1d supplies save our lives every day but it breaks my 💔 to see the large amount of #waste they produce: plastic, packaging, sensors, needles, syringes, insulin pump parts, infusion sets, insulin pens, cartridges and vials, test strips, lancets, and so on.
Proper #t1diabetes recycling measures, regulations, and education are desperately needed in #Europe and worldwide ⚠️
How can #HCP assist people who chose to use #DYIAID?

Because DIY #ClosedLoop systems have been so life-changing for them and their kids, they decided to make it available for all.

A boy had a late diagnosis, had had a dose on #insulin, but no fluid yet. He passed away 💔
