Today, after a month I can walk like a true warrior Ares.

The HOME RUN after 28 days of intense treatment.

1/ I won't lie..it was one of the most nerve racking night yesterday not bcos I may be positive still but bcoz my co morbid conditions were resurfacing.

In short, making me fight not one but two conditions simultaneously.

2/ Lockdown over in chn today. My review date was today. Fixed my appointment, made reminder calls. Got sms confirmation for review at 10:30am

All set to go.

3/ Wasn't it an auspicious day today?

I chanted Mrityunjay mantra ..yeah I do believe there's someone who guides doctors n all of us. 👩‍⚕️😇

4/ I completed my pranayama what lil I am able to these days as my breath isn't normal.

My cousin helps me out with video classes, a disciple of krishnamacharya yoga mandiram 🧘‍♀️

5/ Could get only uber auto. The first one turned me down as he didn't hv permit to cross districts..
And I live in the threshold between chn n chengalpet.

6/ So booked another auto and was wise from my earlier mistake

What a surprise his house was near mine n was ready to stay with me whole day.

U help me I help u. 🤗💞

7/ Now starts the DRAMA of Anubis and scorpion King n Ares.

Not one but many guardians outside the hosp. Who plays bad cop? -Admin.

8/ They hadn't noted my appointment and said I couldn't see the doctor nor do any test. Dang!!

I had to show my muscle a bit ...lambasted them so much that they called a doctor outside.

9/ She was my Shiva today. Checked me, said I m mostly cured. CT will confirm.

But this covid 19 is weird.
U get cough in the initial phase too and also when the lungs are recovering. This was new info fr me. This could last upto 10 days.

10/ Another new info ws Remdesvir etc are similar to cyclosporin immunosuppressant and mny patients with such co morbidity r actually benefitting from them.

All prev theories were put to nought abt immune suppression.

11/ The good doctor gave a third surprise ( atleast it was to me)

Her first patient was in Jan 13th !!
Long before media publicised it.
Corona has also made it for half of the 2020.

12/ The doc was like a Pandora's box ... The hospital that is home quarantining positive patients are not taken into account.

13/ A twist.look at the paradox from the prev point.
the patients who recover, get re test may show +ve in swab bt not in CT upto 8 weeks -bits of non infective viral stuff

The patient is NON INFECTIVE now

These ppl are again added to the positive tally, increasing the no.s

14/So, after this big discussion outside the hosp doors, they let me in with PPE

Another wait outside CT..so mny emergency cases, on ventilators were wheeled in.

There was only coughing all around n a sense of gloom.

Again I waited for 2 hrs. by now the time was 12:30pm

15/ After the CT, I ws again jittery. The chief met me..she recognised me n said Hi Deepa like a long lost friend....I m hard to forget with my locks of wisdom lol.

She discussed same issues. Asked me to wait

16/ Again the wait began.

In the interim, I came to know that this Archie boy @Go_Movie_Mango called n it was promptly attended by my daughter waiting outside.

17/ After 6 hours on the sunny lounge ..(wish there had been enough shamiana) n dosa from an opp restaurant n coffee from cafe day.. yea my pocket is empty now lol

Take lots of food, guys when u go to hospital...long wait

18/ As I was literally falling down with exhaustion...well, ofcourse I m weak n also bcos I ve been happily lying down for a mnth, just gorging on delicacies made by my hubby..

He has handed over the kitchen to me..arre I need more rest😄

19/ The good doctor returns with the CT... Nr total resolution.. clear of covid. So, there's no point in a swab test now anyways ..(for 2 mnths remember bits of viral noninfective remnants float)

20/ One problem over- slayed covid.

Second problm was to get back on immunosuppressants n stop temporary steroids.

That too happened...like a jigsaw suddenly it all fell in place in one move.

21/ And very important compliment to me ok guys,..all the doctors n my fmly said u can't find a more disciplined person than me. Initiated steps, right measures, followed rigorously. I imprisoned myself for 28 days..like in a dark cell.

22/ Anyways, last googly she threw ....all r or will be positive.

Avirulent strains of covid ( causing infections serious symptoms) some get..like me. Others get avirulent..asymptomatic.
All get.

Chances of getting again fr me..near zero. I volunteered fr plasma donation.

23/ Well, the doctor said..I am one of the few who can go about merrily anywhere now.

The fight is not yet over fr me too as I hv to get back to my pre covid condition. May take a couple of mnths..

24/ All of u continue the precautions. Love u all. Thank u for your prayers. N being there ...words don't suffice..sorry if I hv made life miserable fr some friends here

Typo *Virulent causes infections.

more clarity: Remdesivir reduces the viral load early. So presumably the immune response is minimised by 2nd wk. And the same action is that of cyclosporine. Bt cyclo given in 1st week would be catastrophe. Similarly Remdesivir after first week can be futile n even dangerous.
