#Covid19 update July 7, 2020. We remain in Stage 4, though we’re very close to stage 5. The latest 7-day average of new hospitalizations is about 75. Review the risk-based guidelines here: bit.ly/2ZkwMRc 1/6
Right now, we need everyone to continue to #StayHome when you can, #MaskUp & social distance when outside of your home, get tested if you think you may have COVID-19, & isolate for at least 10 days after the onset of symptoms, practice excellent hygiene, & otherwise be safe. 2/6
Tonight there are 12, 408 people that have tested positive – up 482 from yesterday. Unfortunately, 7 additional Austinites have been lost to this virus since yesterday—total deaths 151. Approximately 9,348 have recovered. 3/6
There are 469 people hospitalized with #Covid19 in our area, up 23 from yesterday, with 148 in the ICU & 89 on ventilators. The @AustinTexasGov website has this information & more: austintexas.gov/covid19 4/6

There are 70 people hospitalized, with 30 in the ICU & 13 on ventilators fighting to get better. Speaking of which, I’m happy to report 378 people have recovered from #COVID19 (2/10)
Yesterday we shared game changing news. @AusPublicHealth launched online Public Testing Enrollment, which allows you to take an online assessment to see if you need a test. If you do need a test, you can skip the need for a doctor recommendation (3/10)

#COVID19 update as of 6:00 pm: #Austin now has 744 confirmed cases, up 54 from yesterday. We remain at 9 deaths & have had 133 people recover. We are starting to see an increase in cases in the 40-59 age range, & while cases are rising, they’ve been at a steady rate (1/7) Image

#Covid19 update as of 3/20/20: There are currently 58 positive test results in Austin. @AustinTexasGov & @TravisCountyTx continue to work closely w/ officials locally & across the country as we monitor this quickly changing situation
@AustinTexasGov and @TravisCountyTx issued new orders moments ago that align with State restrictions, stressing staying at home is safest. They also clarify guidelines around places where 10 people or more gather – such as workplaces. More here: bit.ly/2xXrxwN
These new orders also further define agencies considered “critical infrastructure”. In addition, @AustinTexasGov issued guidance earlier today to help individuals better monitor their health and body temperature. More information here: bit.ly/2x9rrlf #Covid19
