What’s our value? What’s the value of work?

Without discussing power, understanding money is meaningless.

Money is about trade of our contributions to living so we together, cooperatively survive. Sounds all so simple until we wonder about power.

Hierarchy v Democracy

We’ve tied money with power as though that’s justice & fairness & it’s not

Why not? Arbitrariness of worthiness of work v ownership

Economies require us all—workers & consumers—so when it thrives, why don’t we all? Not suggesting equal stuff, just equal equal viability—worth

Our Declaration of Independence defines society of free people with equal rights & self governance

How we thrive is about our humanity & value of others lives & their freedom

Power through wealth is about hierarchy v democracy & whether we agree our worthiness to live is equal

Our equal right to life, liberty & pursuit of happiness is founded in the idea of the equal worthiness of everyone.

It’s not founded on wealth or abilities or contribution to society—thriving is what happens when surviving is secured.

Society’s an agreement in our constitution.

Fundamentally we are a society for & by the people, based on a evolving constitution & #RuleOfLaw — we choose through our vote who represents us in governance & arbitration of justice/fairness.

Our aim is freedom — self determination in governance & our personal lives — choice

GOP/Trump are very clear they don’t believe in equal worth upon which our democratic republic was founded

People are expendable for wealthiest to thrive in obscene luxury

In fairness, this is human history. Ironically, we are not innately humane as a species—it’s a choice

Our choice as people is whether we value being humane, do we value others & their right live & thrive—a choice

Fairness requires being humane—a choice—valuing others rights doesn’t diminish ours or our abilities

Inhumane treatment of others is for power & wealth accumulation

#COVID19 lays bare who actually isn’t expendable — nurses, doctors, food production workers & transporters of goods...

But wealthiest think—these are expendable because they’re replaceable as if wealth is worthiness to exist

Government giving money is us deciding who’s worthy

GOP v democrats in congress is a fight about democracy v hierarchy — who survives, who thrives

#COVID19 exposes critical necessity for mundane operations of society & health

It’s never been about the economy surviving, it’s about people surviving & thriving—their equal worth

Industries come & go as society evolves over time

Anything we deem worthy of keeping can be made whole again by people choosing it

Urgency is survival & quality of life, not what’s after #COVID19 threat is minimized

So ask why GOP isn’t interested in addressing the pandemic?

GOP don’t just want power & wealth—they want others to struggle & suffer so they maintain power & privilege. They believe everyone’s expendable

Cruelty is the point—inhumane treatment of children, immigrants, others v us. People dying is the point as that makes focus survival

Hierarchy is built on cruelty & brutality—bullies after power & privilege

Democracy thrives on being humane & kind—valuing everyone equally

#ClimateCrisis #COVID19 expose clarity of our choice about our humanity & fairness

It’s really that simple even if way forward’s complex

It was inevitable America prosperity would lead to those favoring wealth hierarchy blatantly doubling down on cruelty, divisiveness, inhumanity

Easing suffering, dignity/quality of life, quality healthcare+education—all thriving—equitable opportunity dismantles $ entitlements
