MEET OPERATION SAVE AMERICA (OSA) the Christian supremacists you’ve never heard of. They are VERY focused on abortion but have a side hustle condemning #feminism#Islam#BLM and #LGBTQ folks. They exist to advocate for an America rooted in racism and patriarchy. #OSAunmasked
Last July, 100s of OSA members targeted #Wisconsin protesting at abortion clinics, LGBTQ events, and public parks spreading their messages of oppression. But they were greeted by us, along with local and national activists. #OSAunmaskedfacebook.com/osaunmasked/vi…
We dubbed it the “Garbage Fyre Fest” because like the Fyre Festival, OSA promised an experience, but delivered a pack of bullshit, leaving people with a whole lotta nuthin’. We taunted them with this all over the city! #OSAunmasked
Check out last year's counter protests in action! We are twerking hard to combat the heinous messaging they bring to terrorize patients and providers. We shut them down! And we want you to join us THIS YEAR, July 19-26 as have some seriously fun plans for disruption! #OSAunmasked
Because of #COVID19, OSA has pivoted to a virtual week of garbage. Abortion AF will be there to clap back at all of it with a plan of action called “Operation Save America: Unmasked.” Join us! #OSAunmaskedosaunmasked.com
SAVE THE DATE #OSAunmasked, July 19-26. Check out our kickoff video, scour the toolkit, and get ready to spread the word NEXT WEEK about thIs dangerous and influential group. Love y’all! #OSAunmasked

For #My40Days, let’s talk about MINDFULNESS about how we discuss abortion with friends, people who've had abortions, your aunt Linda, your dentist, and so on. Let’s start with a big one: why we’ve (mostly) stopped saying “pro-choice.”
We are ALL about letting people have agency over their decisions. So yes, naturally, “pro-choice” works well for that. #My40Days
But we also have to think about who “pro-choice” leaves out. The healthcare system and the WORLD are effed up and create all kinds of barriers for people who want to be parents. So for some people maybe it’s not a “choice” to have an abortion so much as a necessity. #My40Days
#RBG taught us to stand up to sexist ghouls. Now that she's gone, misogynists are twirling their gross mustaches, gearing up to replace her legacy with an anti-abortion extremist!
Said anti-abortion ghouls have started their crusade with a nationwide clinic troll-a-thon called "40 Days for Life." #My40Days
In this annual event, hordes of uninvited Catholic hatesplainers "stand guard" outside of abortion clinics for 40 days and 40 nights. Really, it's just stalking. #My40Days
Badass of the day: Shirley Chisholm! Today is the 49th anniversary of Chisholm entering the Democratic primary, making her the first Black woman to run for president of these United States.
When she ran for Congress, her slogan was “Unbought and unbossed.” She also spoke truth to power when she said, “If you don’t have a seat at the table, bring a folding chair.”
When she was elected to Congress — also the first Black woman to do that — they tried to hide her on the ag committee, which took her away from working for the people who actually elected her. Still she rose.
Although she was obstructed by the head of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (fuck you forever, Scott Lloyd and your creepy period tracking), she did eventually receive her abortion with the help of the @ACLU, activists, and @JanesDueProcess.
So today we thought we’d tweet out her statement from the time as a reminder of why we fight so hard for everyone to get the abortion care they need:
