Start with the basics. Ask yourself a few questions first. 👇 Know your technical limitations. Make sure objectives are agreed upon and in line with attendees' expectations. #TeMasterClass #TeVE

Consider using an exchange to set your agenda! Run the exchange a few days in advance. Questions example: "What are the most important things for us to discuss when we meet". #Crowdsourcing #TeMasterClass

Plan for your results: Will this contribute to decisions making? Close the loop. Make sure that anything you say you're going to do (example adding comments to thoughts, sharing results, etc) follow through. #TeMasterClass

Spend a couple of minutes talking through the top thoughts. Leave space in your agenda for the conversation around those top thoughts. Leader comments! They can be a powerful way to reply to a thought. These comments will show up in the Leader Report also. #TeMasterClass

Think BROAD when you're sharing results. Share it with attendees AND people who couldn't make it to the event. #TeMasterClass #TeVE

Exchange Gallery - Have you used it? 1/4 of our attendees today have used it before. It's a resource of different proven exchanges. It's a list of templates that can be launched into an exchange with only a few clicks. #TeVE #TeMasterClass

Teala shows us how quick it is to create an exchange from here. She was able to edit the text to add Shannon's name to make it more personal, and her exchange was live in less than 10 seconds. 💥 #TeVE #TeMasterClass

This is what Presenter Mode looks like for the exchange leader. The timer is only a suggested time (we have found that between 4 and 6 minutes is the "sweet spot"). You can add more time if people need it. #TeVE #TeMasterClass

What is the difference between scrolling and traditional?

Good question! They are two different participant experiences. Some people find the scrolling UI easier when participating on a phone. Try them both! #BringPeopleTogether #TeMasterClass

Once you can see that most of your participants are in the exchange (looking at number of participants) you can move over to "visualize" to watch the connections happening in realtime. After 3 minutes, remind your participants to move into rating thoughts if they haven't already.

Double click on a thought to have it show up bigger and in more of a "presenter" style. Let your participants know when you're going to close the exchange, this will prevent having the top thoughts bounce around when you're going through them together. #TeMasterClass #TeVE
