Qualche giorno fa ho postato un thread per descrivere il lavoro di un team di ricercatori tedeschi che mostrano come, in Germania, la riapertura delle scuole abbia diminuito leggermente i contagi. Qualcuno ha giustamente obiettato: l'Italia non è la Germania.

In effetti, la Germania ha mostrato di essere molto più efficiente in ogni aspetto della lotta al virus, dalla messa in sicurezza delle scuole alla riorganizzazione dei trasporti, dal tracciamento dei contatti dei casi rivelati al trattamento dei malati in isolamento.

Salvatore Lattanzio (@salva_lat PhD candidate in Economics a Cambridge) è andato oltre e ha svolto sull'Italia un'analisi simile a quella tedesca, giungendo a conclusioni diverse: da noi le regioni che hanno riaperto prima le scuole sono più avanti nella curva dei contagi.

Siamo in grado di garantire il distanziamento sociale in chiesa? Appena fuori dalla chiesa, le persone avranno l'accortezza di rispettare ancora le distanze?

Naturalmente la stessa preoccupazione vale anche per la scuola, ma: 1) Le chiese sono frequentate dai più vulnerabili. 2) Le scuole riguardano un'attività *indispensabile* non solo per il benessere di una generazione ma anche per il presente e il futuro dell'intero paese.
