Officials previously confirmed #Russia also managed to access voter registration-related information, most recently describing it as mailings/ other products based on the data

US intel officials say they are expecting more attacks, attempted attacks in the coming days, and especially as the polls close - noting #Iran in particular has become increasingly aggressive

"We wouldn't be surprised to see more website defacements" @CISAKrebs told reporters Friday, before the advisory went out, calling it "a tried & true tactic of the Iranians"

Officials also bracing for DDoS attacks & attacks on websites that report election results

"I would expect claims from any number of actors that maybe they've been able to manipulate [data/sites]" pr @CISAKrebs, though he said in many cases actors will be making claims that far exceed their actual skills/capabilities

Per @CyberScoopNews, the suspected #Iran|ian hackers who accessed voter registration data probed a total of 10 US state websites
