1. DON'T MISS THE DEADLINE!

2. MAKE SURE YOU ENROLL IN AN #ACA-COMPLIANT PLAN!
Make sure to enroll using an official #ACA exchange *or* an authorized partner which *only* offers ACA-compliant policies!

3. THE FEDERAL MANDATE PENALTY MAY BE GONE, BUT IT'S STILL AROUND IN CA, DC, MA, NJ & RI!
If you live in one of these states (+DC) you'll have to pay a financial penalty if you don't have #ACA-compliant coverage *and* don't qualify for an exemption.

4. YOU MAY QUALIFY FOR TAX CREDITS IN 2021 EVEN IF YOU DIDN'T IN 2020...AND IT COULD MAKE A *HUGE* DIFFERENCE!

5. RESIDENTS OF CA, MA, NJ & VT MAY QUALIFY FOR ADDITIONAL SUBSIDIES!
A few states offer their own supplemental financial assistance *on top of* federal subsidies. In CA even many of those not eligible for federal help may qualify for state subsidies worth thousands of dollars!

7. OK, this one doesn't really apply anymore, but it's still good advice: DON'T LET YOURSELF BE PASSIVELY AUTO-RENEWED.
Plan offerings, networks, prices and tax credits change from year to year even if nothing changes at your end, so always actively shop around each year.

OH YEAH: If you're concerned about the Supreme Court striking down the #ACA this spring/summer, keep in mind that even in the worst-case scenario, a few months of coverage is still better than no coverage at all (even so, Congress should #MootTheSuit):
