Thank God it’s Friday - forever my favorite day of the week, I’m back at the court of Arbitration as the Lagos Judicial Panel of Inquiry sits for the 37th time since it’s inception in October 2020. #ENDSARS
Here’s the list of petitioners expected to appear before the panel today. #EndSARS
The time is 11:12 AM - Panel’s not started yet, today it’s because we are waiting on the Police legal counsel, Cyril Ejiofor, J.I Ebesoremen & Enmanuel Eze to arrive. #ENDSARS
They are here now, surely now we can begin... #ENDSARS
Finally at 1:00 PM the panel comes in, Justice Okuwobi apologizes stating that their reason for starting late was because the panel was meeting with the forensics team. #ENDSARS
The first petition is Adebayo Yinka Austin vs FSARS - petitioners counsel has a witness, his name is Adesipe Idowu, he’s the neighbor to the petitioner above mentioned. #ENDSARS
He is cross examined by police counsel and his case is adjourned to February 26, 2021. #ENDSARS
2nd petitioner is Tella Adesanya vs the Nigerian Force - the next witness, Woman police SP - Helen Ototoju isn’t here and will be sent a fresh summons for testimony. This case is also adjourned to, February 26, 2021. #ENDSARS
The 3rd petitioner, Osidipe Olumide Sunday vs FSARS - police counsel kicks off cross examination, though Cyril Ejiofors’ methods seems extreme for this court, I’ll let you be the judge.
This case is further adjourned to March 2, 2021. #ENDSARS
4th petitioner, Obochi Michael Owoicho vs the Nigerian Police Force, however the Nigerian Airforce has just been joined as a respondent in the case for this reason the motion stands adjourned to March 2, 2021 when fresh summons can be sent out.
The 5th petition, Emeka Sunday Jato & Azubuike Jato (twins?) - Unfortunately their case can’t be heard as they have pages missed from their petition. For this reason, their case is adjourned to March 2, 2021. #ENDSARS
The 6th petitioner, Canaan Chukwuezi vs the Nigerian Police Force. He’s absent from court today (for the third time), because of this the petition is struck out from the panels records.
The 7th petition, Mr. Julius Adeogun & Mrs Adewunmi Adeogun vs. the Nigerian Police Force. The former is deceased and his wife, Adewunmi is the one giving testimony. #EndSARS
Adewunmi narrates how her husband was picked up and tortured by police men... #ENDSARS
After listening to her harrowing testimony, Justice Okuwobi decides cross examination should take place on another day because of the emotional state of the petitioner. This case is adjourned to March 9, 2021. #ENDSARS

By the time I arrived in court, it was already in session. Just walking in I knew something was different, still feeling stressed out from this morning’s events, now no seats.
So from what I’ve gathered petitioners counsel, Adesina Ogunsanya has complained about that persons have been trailing his clients and names the Federal government, Lagos state government & Lekki Concession Company as perpetrators.
Let’s get straight into it, court is full today oo - here’s why 1. A Dr from Reddington hospital is FINALLY testifying today 2. Legal counsel to the Nigerian Army is expected in court today following Justice Okuwobi’s ultimatum to appear in 7 days. #EndSARS
Here’s a list of petitioners expected to testify today. Peep # 1 & 2 🙃 #ENDSARS
The first witness is Babajide Lawsona trauma surgeon from Reddington hospital who was on call on the night of October 20th, he’s here withhold legal counsel who start cross examination leading in evidence. #ENDSARS
I’m at the Court of Arbitration for as ghe Lagos Judicial of Panel of Inquiry sits today for the 34th time. How’s your day going? #ENDSARS
Looks like it’s going to be a quick one today, there are only 5 petitioners on the list. #ENDSARS
At 1:00 PM, the panel finally makes it way into court, this being the longest we have had to wait for the panel to resume. Justice Okuwobi states that, the panel had been waiting on information from the forensics team regarding the status of the Lekki Toll Gate. #ENDSARS
Good morning everyone, as you all know the Judicial panel of inquiry has for the past 3 months met on Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays. However, in an effort to meet up with the high number of petitioners Justice Okuwobi added an additional day (Wednesday) for proceedings. #ENDSARS
Today is the first Wednesday the panel will be meeting at the Court of Arbitration, this add on brings it to a number of 4 days in a week. #ENDSARS
The time is now 11:45 am, Police, petitioners and legal counsel alike are waiting on the 8 man panel to arrive. #ENDSARS
11:37 AM - Panels’ here, I’m not even mad I just got here myself. Doing the Morning Show does this to me, we will be back to regular programming soon. Who’s ready to #EndSARS this Friday afternoon? ☺️
Here’s the list of petitions being heard today #ENDSARS
The First petition of the day, starts with its own challenges as despite summons being served to the Nigerian Army both them and their legal counsel are absent. #ENDSARS
January 5, 2021. 11:30 AM - The Judicial panel of Inquiry resumes its sitting. Arrived a tad bit late due the timing of my segment on the morning show. Don’t think I’ve missed much, no petitioner has been called forward. #ENDSARS
Here are the petitioners set to testify today. By my count today makes for the 23rd sitting for the panel but who’s counting. #ENDSARS
The first witness in the case of Adebayo Abayomi is called forward, his name is Ibrahim Yusuf, he is the lead witness for Police legal counsel Cyril Ejiofor. Yusuf is sworn in and proceeds to give his testimony. #ENDSARS
