🚨Remember the heavily OPPOSED smack-down that #California imposed on millions of #independentcontractors?

That they are ‼️STILL‼️ fighting? The law that says you cannot even do #Rideshare unless @uber, @lyft, @Grubhub

... EMPLOY you as an official employee of the company. 😱

Even IF they could afford to do that (and these companies have ALREADY said they CANNOT,) you could not:

🔸set your own schedule
🔸where you want to work
🔸or any other #sidehustle - GONE

Are you a(n):

🔸#selfpublished author? #editor or #ghostwriter?
🔸#lifecoach
🔸#socialmedia #marketer or #manager?
🔸#contentcreator
🔸#contractor

Or any similar role, meaning you work for yourself and/or your clients.

This means I could not offer ANY social media advice....

.... content, consultation, workshops, or even become my OWN author - PLUS

All of those other brave
#solopreneurs that you
have met, collaborated
with, consulted upon, OR
any variation of the power
of single individuals:

Cannot work - for anyone - UNLESS hired as an employee‼️

..therefore LIMITING *drastically* anyone’s ability to work for a #client, let alone their portfolio of partners.

This isn’t even mentioning that this disproportionally affects #women, #minorities, #parents, & #disabled peoples making their own living thru #Entrepreneurship! 😱

Forget setting your OWN schedule.

Forget making that extra essential cash through #rideshare.

Forget working on multiple projects as an #independent ANYONE.

#WorkFromHome? Depends on what your client-turned-employer dictates.

‼️IF they can even afford to hire you! #PROAct 👎

This means these #SmallBiz owners would have to provide benefits and pay/decide on your:

health insurance
social security
scale + schedule
401(k), taxes
Etc.

Eliminating #consultants and #contractors across every industry & preventing any from working for multiple clients. 😡

And I don’t know about you, but to thrive I need multiple, diverse clients to solidify my brand!
