⚠️HUGE INCREASE IN KIDS—New Swedish 🇸🇪 data showing a sudden dramatic surge in pediatric #COVID19 cases across Sweden since Jan.

Kids age 0-9: Up ⬆️ 123%
Kids age 10-19: Up ⬆️ 72%

Likely due to surging #B117 variant, where it’s now 50% in Stockholm.🧵

2) Is this pediatric surge in #COVID19 a statistical fluke? No. If we just look at the change from late Feb to first week of March, we still see this consistent surge in kids.

3) And where is the proof that #B117 is surging fast in Sweden 🇸🇪? Here on Swedish Public Health Authority’s website. Circled is Stockholm’s 53% #B117 proportion found in week 8 of 2021. Another region has 60%.

This #B117 surge is a real concern.

MASK BATTLE: anti-mask riders versus @Uber driver Subhakar—he picked up 3 women & after asking one to wear a mask was subject to directed coughing & slurs.

Uber has banned one passenger. SF police investigating.

2) Disgusting part is... @Uber only initially offered the driver $20 to clean his car after one girl pepper sprayed it. $120 still not enough to clear his car in San Francisco.
3) I feel like merely banning the rider’s account is pretty much meaningless slap on the wrist @Uber_Support. Hope they cooperate with SF police.

Hunt for a universal #SARSCoV2 vaccine that will work regardless of spike mutations—next holy grail.

New: CDC recommendations:

📌Fully vaccinated people can gather together indoors.

📌If grandparents have been vaccinated, they can visit family if they haven’t been vaccinated only if so long as they’re not at risk for severe disease. #COVID19
2) To be clear—vaccinated people can only meet unvaccinated **low risk** people from only 1 family household without masks or distancing.

➡️Don’t try 2nd family household (don’t criss cross bubbles)

➡️Don’t do any unvaccinated family if they are not low risk.

In other 🇬🇧 news—

Schools across England are reopening again *today*. No school mask requirements. No school air quality & ventilation guidelines—it is so dangerous that it is “medieval” says Professor @theAliceRoberts.

God save 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 & its children from #B117. #COVID19
2) UK 🇬🇧 was sooooo close to #ZeroCovid - just a few weeks more - but all of that is put into jeopardy by lies by the govt and many of its advisors that misleadingly claim kids don’t/barely transmit. Schools can be safe—but only with airborne precautions and ventilation.
3) French data agrees with the UK data above that children are being afflicted by #B117 than before. This also matches data out of Italy 🇮🇹 and Israel 🇮🇱.
