Rise in active cases taking place, after touching lowest mark in mid-Feb

In the last one month, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal has shown a decline; while Maharashtra, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Haryana has shown a rise in the no. of active cases

#LargestVaccineDrive:

More than 2.56 crore doses of #COVID19 #Vaccine administered till date.

It includes more than 67 lakh people above 60 years and people aged 45-60 years with comorbidities.

In the first 53 days (from Jan 16, 2021), India has administered 2.56 crore doses of #COVID19 #vaccine

Within a period from 4th March when 10 lakh vaccines per day were being given, capacity has been ramped up to 20 lakh vaccines per day on 8th March

About 71 percent #COVID19 #Vaccine doses have been administered in public healthcare facilities, while almost 29 percent vaccination done by private facilities which are empanelled in @AyushmanNHA, CGHS & State Govt. Health Insurance Schemes: Secretary, @MoHFW_INDIA

In Odisha, Delhi, Telengana & Maharashtra, pvt. facilities outside AB-PMJAY, CGHS or State Govt Health Schemes, have been included for #COVIDVaccination, on the state's recommendations, for having adequate space, cold chain, vaccinators & arrangement to address AEFI: @MoHFW_INDIA

Adverse Event Following Immunization (AEFI) has occurred in a miniscule percentage. #AEFI reported so far are 0.020% of the total immunizations which have been done. Out of this, only 0.00025% of hospitalization cases have occurred: Secretary, @MoHFW_INDIA
