5/n Gefilte Fish - much of Yiddish food originates in poverty, you don’t have enough fish to feed your family, you grind bones & unedible parts with egg & matzah flour, stuff the fish. I like them sweet as my mother used to make them, but order both sweet & salty from @ZabarsIsNY
