1/ We have been discussing a lot on growth hacks, strategies and frameworks to really scale the product but one thing is for sure user segmentation will add efficiency to all your strategies.
2/ Many times we just directly execute the strategy or growth hack to all the users to improve those particular metrics but we need to really understand that not all users are the same and then don't necessarily need the same messaging or triggers.
3/ Thus user segmentation or user scoring comes into the picture, you can filter out different groups/batches of users based on their behaviour and then create strategies to target those group in their own unique way.
4/ Let's say if there is set of the group which are more engaged on a monthly basis then other users who are lees engaged then you can optimize your messaging and offerings differently for those 2 groups.
5/ You can also qualify users based on certain parameters and action and then great groups and then handle them differently like with your email marketing there are few who read your content & also share those then you can create a new group for them & send them premium content
6/ User scoring can also be a way of segmenting it is similar to user qualification just here you are giving them a score based on the actions they perform and then you can set a threshold score and then only give the discount offers to them only.
7/ User qualification is based on certain actions and that they perform or parameters which you are tracking around and user scoring and setting threshold can be a way to see how are those users who perform 5 tasks out of the 15 and then score them and nurture them accordingly
8/ each segmentation technique is the same it's just a few variations here and there. This really helps in your marketing campaign and also in your product strategy to improve your metrics. You can't always do that same thing for everyone you need to be a little different as well
9/ All of these are examples you can play around with the techniques like in earlier user scoring instead of giving discount and offers you can direct that group to a different dashboard or design to test the new things out or any other thing for that matter.
10/ Thus while improving your metrics for any stages of funnels or hacks first you can segment the users and target them accordingly as this will improve your efficiency and increase your conversions.
11/ Let me know if I have missed something or you would like to add & use this thread on user segmentation & see you guys in the next one till then happy hacking:)
1/ Storytelling is a top skill to have, it can create a lot of impact on your growth strategy. In this thread, we will discuss few key points to keep in mind while telling stories this may be through blogs / while speaking

1/ In the last thread we discussed how to convert freemium users to paying customers and in this, we will discuss how to convert free trial users to paying users.
2/ Freemium users are users using the freemium plan (a plan which is free to use lifetime) and free trials users are the users who are using paid plan for a certain amount of time like 7 or 14 or 21 days and after that either they will buy the paid plan or
1. The best way to grow is to find channels that are working for you and then double down on that and later you can move to other channels and morning brew has a great distribution strategy

1/ What's more than articles for SEO? It's intent-based keywords and their related pages. They tend to perform better than normal blog articles that doesn't mean you shouldn't do the article I'm suggesting also include an intent-based strategy in your SEO.
2/ So what exactly is this? Let's say you are searching to connect your Gmail to airtable or any other integrations than the first thing that shows up will be the zapier URLs to help you integrate. This doesn't seem enough on a single URL but on a macro level it has a huge impact

2/ You how there are cold outreaches on LinkedIn people just message you the same stuff about there company and just go out selling and it works for many of them if done right but what has also happened is people have become immune to these messages and tend to ignore them so now
