Starts with the spike protein DNA carried by Adenovirus ChAdOx1 or just AZD1222 .. a technology that led to the Ebola vaccine in the past..
The DNA triggers formation of mRNA which will code for spike proteins.. #AstraZeneca #vaccine

Once spike protein appears on the surface of somatic cells, they are recognized by APC, Antigen Presenting Cells .. which then triggers the T Helper Cells
B cells get involved and antibodies are produced against the spike protein.. which also attacks the spike proteins on actual #SARSCoV2 , the pathogen for #COVID19 ..
Another interesting mechanism of action is via APC, Antigen Presenting Cells which activate Killer T Cells to attack directly the spike protein on infected cells..
Not forgetting also to weigh in the risk of blood clots vs the benefits of #AstraZeneca #vaccine .. more so in the context of blood clots if one has #COVID19 ..

Yet we also need to hear out from a son who described how his dad who developed stroke from blood clot was "unbelievably unlucky" !!
Hence the "informed consent" practiced in Canada, much like now in #Malaysia with regards to the #AstraZeneca #vaccine

Now to the uninitiated.. @KKMPutrajaya has been putting out our #COVID19 data in a website called #CovidNow as below 👇🏻 ..
which gives a full range of info like vaccination rates, hospitalization data, case numbers etc .. #Malaysia .. 1/n

Nevertheless, current #COVID19 data in #Malaysia definitely shows a rising trend. I'm sure many amongst us are seeing cases in our friends, acquaintances, work colleagues, students, church family etc..

Is there a commonality in the present cases, especially the clusters ? .. 2/n
Taking present "official" 20 #COVID19 clusters in #Malaysia (I say "official" some obvious "clusters" were not reported eg: by JKN, in #Penang ) .. 🤔

Back to the "official" 20 clusters:
10 = Education 50%
8 = High Risk 40%
1 = Detention Centre 5%
1 = Workplace 5% .. 3/n
