Sr Adv Indira Jaising for submits if this request is being considered, then the entire file pertaining to the sanction required be placed before the Court as the main issue in the petition pertains to the sanction.
Jaising: This is an issue of liberty. The Court may grant or deny bail but I have to be heard. This petition has been pending for hearing for over 3 months now.

Replies to be filed before July 1, rejoinders if any before July 9 and we will list the matter for hearing on July 13, 2021.
Jaising: Since the Court is facing some technological issues, may I request for physical hearing in this case?
Court: I am in the administrative committee, if I allow this, it will be in breach of the SOP. So when we sit in review in the next meeting, we will take a call.
Court: On the aspect of physical or virtual hearings.
Jaising: I am only requesting that my request may be considered for this case, as it will be easier to address the Court physically.

One of the lawyers for petitioners says they went to NHRC which then forwarded complaint to top police official who the sends it to the local police station.
The local police then says you have to face consequences. It is a vicious cycle.
