#Shri Ramkrishna Paramhansa, born Gadadhar Chattopadhyaya a 19th Century religious leader and reformer, who was a devotee of Maa #Kali.
He was a priest at the #Dakshineswar Kali Temple . For him, Kali was not a deity, she was a living reality.

Ramakrishna’s consciousness was so crystallized that whatever form he wished became a reality for him. Maa Kali danced in front of him, she ate from his own hands, she came when he called, and she left him dripping with ecstasy.

At the age of 23, he got married to five-year-old Saradamani , She later became his spiritual counterpart known as Sarada devi.
His teachings emphasised that the realization of the existence of God is the supreme goal of all living beings.

#सनातन धर्म में #विद्यारंभ संस्कार
शुभ घड़ी में #कलम-दवात और #पटरी का पूजन करने के बाद ही प्रारंभ होती थी । पाठशाला में जब बच्चा प्रवेश लेता था तब दूधिया भरी दावात और #नरकट की बनी कलम होती थी। गांव में गड़ही और जलाशय के किनारे नरकट होता था।

पका नरकट काटकर बच्चे खूबसूरत कलम गढ़ते थे। उसके उपरांत लकड़ी की काली पटरी पर सफेद दूधिया में कलम डूबो कर सुंदर लिखाई की जाती थी .
खास बात यह थी कि पांचवी कक्षा तक नरकट और कीरिच की कलम से लिखने के चलते लिखावट बेहद सुंदर होती थी।

परंतु आज प्रचलन में न कलम रही ना दवात। नरकट आज भी है पर इसका प्रयोग महज मड़ई निर्माण तक ही रह गया है। पटरी और कलम-दवात का प्रचलन बंद होने से शिक्षा भी प्रभावित है .. परम्परायें पुरानी होने के साथ धीरे-धीरे खत्म होती चली जाती है ,पर बच्चों को इसी में आनंद आता था।

#Pashupatinath mandir dedicated to Bhagwan #Shiva is one of the oldest in #Nepal.
The pagoda style temple stands tall on the banks of the river #Bagmati and has a history dating back to 400 AD. The temple complex is huge covering an area of 264 hectares.

Inside the temple complex there are 518 different structures.
The main temple is an architectural masterpiece and features cubic constructions and wooden rafters.There are four main doors wrapped in silver sheets and the roof is made from copper with gold coating.

The main idol is a stone #Mukhalingam facing four directions,
with the silver serpent.

#तुलसीदासजी का जन्म संवत्‌ 1554 की श्रावण शुक्ल सप्तमी के दिन #सरयूपारीण #ब्राह्मण के परिवार में हुआ था
जन्मते समय बालक तुलसीदास रोए नहीं, किंतु उनके मुख से
#राम का शब्द निकला। उनके मुख में बत्तीसों दाँत मौजूद थे जिसे देखकर पिता अमंगल की शंका से भयभीत हो गए थे।

तुलसीदास लगभग साढ़े पाँच वर्ष अनाथ हो गए थे। ऐसी मान्यता है #माता #पार्वती ब्राह्मणी का वेश धारण कर प्रतिदिन उसके पास जातीं और उसे अपने हाथों से भोजन करा जातीं। संवत्‌ 1561 माघ शुक्ल पंचमी श्री नरहरि ने उसका यज्ञोपवीत संस्कार कराया और उनका नाम #रामबोला रखा।

बिना सिखाए ही बालक रामबोला ने #गायत्री-मंत्र का उच्चारण किया, जिसे देखकर सब लोग चकित हो गए।
अयोध्या में ही रहकर उसे विद्याध्ययन कराने लगे।
बालक रामबोला की बुद्धि बड़ी प्रखर थी। एक बार गुरुमुख से जो सुन लेते थे, उन्हें वह कण्ठस्थ हो जाता था।

#Belur Math is one of the biggest #temples in India
situated on the west bank of #Hooghly River in Belur, #West Bengal
The temples dedicated to #Ramakrishna, Swami #Vivekananda and #Sarada Devi.

It founded by Swami Vivekananda, to spread the teachings of Vedanta as embodied in the life of the Hindu saint Ramakrishna (1836–86) and to improve the social conditions of the Indian people. It is one of the significant institutions in Calcutta.

The temple is conducts an annual celebrations of Durga Puja and Kumari Puja which are one of the main attractions. The tradition of #Kumari #Puja was started by Swami Vivekananda in 1901. The Math also celebrates annual birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Maa Sharada & Swamiji
