Justice AM Khanwilkar led bench to hear plea seeking to cancel all state board class 12 exams. The court will specifically examine the stand taken by Andhra Pradesh govt with regard to Class 12 exams

Dave: In 10 days we will have a High Powered Committee which will devise the assessment scheme and declare the results before July 31. If we held the exam then the results would have gone to Aug. when entire country is in one direction we have no reason to go separate way

Justice Khanwilkar: we wish you appeared earlier this would not have happened. we were pushed to say something which was avoidable. we appreciate the pragmatic stand taken by the state.

SC: It is a very unpredictable situation with harsh consequences.

Justice Maheshwari: what was discussed yesterday was avoidable. Now we should put an end to this. the entire humanity is faced with this.
