[Covid 19] Allahabad High Court to hear the suo moto COVID 19 matter shortly.
Earlier, the court had directed the government to inform the court about the steps being taken to upgrade the primary and secondary health care centers.
Manish Goyal, AAG: We were directed to file the status report about future planning and steps to tackle the pandemic. We have filed an affidavit in this regard.
Intervenor: Please if the court allows, please let me make some submissions. I have filed an application regarding the vaccination of Agricultural department.
CJ: What is the definition of front line workers? Can Agriculture be connected with it?
CJ dictates order: Mr. Goyal has made reference to various steps taken by the state government in reference to Covid 19. The affidavit shows that facilities for testing has been provided by various testing labs.
The affidavit further shows that effective surveillance and activities has been made. Many surveillance teams have been constituted including Asha and Angandwadi workers.
CJ: The state government has taken massive drives for rural areas, the affidavit further shows that for surveillance activities and number of ambulances have been increased.
CJ: We have seeing how people are violating the covid 19 norms, we have seen various news reports where people are gathering in larger number at hill stations.
"It is with the note that effort of the government would show results only when public will follow the protocols."
CJ: Since efforts have to be made by everyone and now this matter is adjourned, we have taken note of the affidavit filed the government.
