The @RSASIU will also not give update on #DigitalVibes. The report was submitted to @PresidencyZA and @CyrilRamaphosa on 30 June and they asked @RSASIU for additional info by 2 July. So this 'flow of information' must be allowed 1st.
Key takeaways from today’s @HealthZA briefing. 1/ 1.2m J&J doses arrived last night in addition to 300k last week and 500k Sisonke. A total of 4.5m Pfizer doses have arrived so far. Supply is certainly looking up.
2/ In six weeks of the vacs programme so far, 2m Pfizer first doses administered and 100k J&J. This means right now we have a lot of vaccine in the system. We calculate 2.5m Pfizer and at least 1.2m J&J.
3/ Daily vaccinations are at around 85k, over 100k last two days. Govt hopes to reach 150k next week, 200k by mid-July and 250k by end July.
