WE HAVE A BREAKTHROUGH!

If you are vaccinated in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 or Northern Ireland and are travelling to 🇮🇪 there is good news!

*Either* keep the paper to hand, *or* import the code into the Irish Covid Tracker Ireland app

Then - and this is the bit that did not work before and now does (and still does not work in 🇪🇺 countries other than 🇮🇪) scan the code from your phone in this Digital Covid Cert Check web app:
app.digitalcovidcertchecker.gov.ie

This now shows as VALID ✅

Interestingly it also says "Vaccination - GB" - whether you were vaccinated in England or Wales

If you put another 🇪🇺 country's EU Digital COVID Pass QR code through the system it likewise shows valid - this is from a German scan

This means that when 🇮🇪 starts to introduce controls of vaccination status to do things - to enter restaurants for example - those vaccinated in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿,🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 & Northern Ireland *will be treated the same way as those vaccinated in 🇮🇪 or any 🇪🇺 country*

(and yes, sorry, this doesn't work for anyone vaccinated in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 as NHS Scotland doesn't issue QR codes in the vaccination proof letter. Come on @AlynSmith @AngusRobertson get that fixed!)
