Jacqueline & her husband live in Stockton & were celebrating their 12th anniversary when their car was broken into at Fisherman’s Wharf.

Jacqueline brings Leo everywhere but the 1 time she thought he was too cold & tired she put him in his car carrier & tucked it under the car’s dash, mostly out of sight.

She got back about an hour later & said “my heart fell…I knew something happened.” #SanFrancisco

This happened at North Point & Powell. Jacqueline & her husband spent all night searching but had to drive home. She is devastated.

She said this trip “was supposed to be happy & beautiful & it turned traumatic. My heart just broke leaving the city without Leo.” #SanFrancisco

Katerina’s parents have owned Franklin Market 25 yrs. 72-y/o father Petros (known as Peter) was attacked last week #SanFrancisco

A man allegedly came into the store to use the restroom. When Peter explained there were no public restrooms the man got belligerent & pulled out a knife.

Peter was stabbed in the chest, arm and left eye.

This all comes as his wife was diagnosed w/breast cancer #SanFrancisco

Peter is an immigrant from Eritrea.

His daughter Katerina told me her father “came to this country to find a new life & what we thought was a safe life…and now they’ve never been this terrified.”

He is now having problems seeing in his right eye which was not stabbed.

This 71-year-old Asian Latino man was bitten by a woman & dragged face-down on the pavement for his jade necklace.

He lost 7 teeth & now needs dental implants. He told me “I love Oakland but not anymore.”

Today he met with Carl Chan of the Chinatown Chamber of Commerce who was attacked himself last month.

Carl is not only helping him w/services but encouraged him to speak out to encourage other Asians “not be afraid.”

There was also a witness named Linda. She told me multiple cars drove around the 71 y/o’s body & NOBODY stopped.

The man is grateful for Linda saying she was a “Good Samaritan to me & I will forever be grateful to her.”

“Truly pathetic” Sources tell me charges were dropped in the case of this 75-year old woman who was dragged by her hair & assaulted in an attempted carjacking in the Richmond in March.

I wanted to know why & reached out to Rachel Marshall…

Here are our emails. (There are more but I can only post 4 at a time) & by now you get the gist of the back-and-forth.

Note: my information is indeed accurate. I reviewed my logs of what I said to the ADA back in March about blurring & they only refer to TV and website video.

The Good Samaritan who saved the senior (punched thru her windshield to scare the suspects) said in part:

“I believe in restorative justice and I understand Chesa has a model but… his way of going about it is not working.” He later said “you lost a fan.”

Today the media & community waited for Chesa Boudin outside Fanly Chen’s store in Chinatown

She was attacked & pepper sprayed after stopping a shoplifter

Chesa was supposedly going to visit

Critics say he appears w/AAPIs for “photo ops” so I asked...

Fanly her thoughts: “I don’t care about him use me…I just want to do the right thing”

So we waited. Chesa didn’t show. Ppl f/DA’s office did met w/Fanly tho

They came out & Fanly said something different: she didn’t expect Boudin today.

Nobody f/the DA’s office who met w/Fanly today wanted to talk.

This is what I emailed Chesa and his communications person shortly after I left the store.

I have yet to receive a response.

As if hearing an 80-year old man cry out for help after getting knocked to the ground in San Leandro isn’t bad enough…

...the suspects are teens as young as 16 and you can hear one laughing loudly.

This comes as SLPD report a nearly 300-percent increase in crimes toward AAPI in 2020 vs 2019

The getaway car was seen less than 2 hours later in a strong-armed robbery. Several weeks ago— a rash of burglaries & carjackings by suspected minors

SLPD can’t say for certain these are hate-crime/race-motivated they tell me the numbers don’t lie.

They’ve increased patrols & are working w/the DA b/c re-offending is a problem.

BTW: The 80-year old is OK but thinks his attack was hate-motivated.
