@booksandladders is a champion of the Coalition of Inclusive Municipalities and has supported cities and organizations in using @CCUNESCO resources and toolkits to meaningful engage youth and integrate the #SDGs in their work.
Jeremiah Ellis and @EmilieLeneveu advocated on youth mental health and wellbeing.
Jeremiah is also a member of @CCUNESCO's Coalition of Inclusive Municipalities advisory committee and has been championing holding leaders accountable for their role in both contributing to and addressing xenophobia and racism.
@EmilieLeneveu advocates for gender equity in science and education, as well a youth in governance and leadership. And is currently running for office to represent her community.
@ryanjamurphy helped YAG members design and build project/work plans to advance @CCUNESCO and @UNESCO priorities and authored a paper on blockchain beyond finance.
@KHerchak co-led the YAG as Deputy Chair and was selected as a delegate to the 2019 @UNESCO Youth Forum. Katelynne has contributed to diverse priorities, including land-based education, gender justice, youth engagement, decolonization, and reconciliation.
Jocelyn Kent organized events celebrating the International Year of Indigenous Languages #IYIL2019 and supports language revitalization efforts.
@AshaReports launched the "Memories of Mogadishu" documentary and is writing an IDEA Lab paper on oral heritage and storytelling. @MemoriesofMog
@AshaReports, Elsa Mondésir Villefort, and Apefa Adjivon represented the YAG as members of the Decade for People of African Descent working group, advocating for the meaningful inclusion of Black youth in @CCUNESCO and its networks activities.
